Growing Older With Joy
Wednesdays, 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM, Ward Church, Room D 450-452
Facilitator: Dr. Russ Doré, EdD
Can I adjust to the changes of growing older? Am I really ready to retire? How will my significant other handle it? How will I keep from feeling “old”? How much golf can I really play? How can I stay healthy and vibrant? Would I like a second career? I want to travel, but can I afford it? Should I move to a different climate? My friends are work friends. Where will I meet friends now? My career gave me purpose. How will I find purpose now? Will I be bored? What other questions do I have about adjusting to growing older?
Dr. Russ Doré, Licensed Psychologist and life coach, will host this special 6 week session for those who are growing older and attempting to make sense of what their new life will bring. Retired, thinking about it, or feeling like you’re “over the hill”, you will find comradery and wisdom in this supportive group. Bring your own questions in addition to those listed above. Optional: Join the group after each session in strengthening bonds over dinner in Knox Hall, for the nominal fee of $6.00.
